A woman has been taken to hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its side after hitting a post box in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to Millmead Road in Margate just after 4.30am to deal with the crash.

A spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and the vehicle was recovered.

"A woman attended a local hospital. A post box was reportedly damaged during the collision."
