Woman taken to hospital after vehicle hits pedestrian at Margate Hand Car Wash in Ramsgate Road

A woman was taken to hospital after a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a hand car wash.

Emergency services were called to the collision at Margate Hand Car Wash in Ramsgate Road on Friday afternoon.

A woman was treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called at 3.28pm on Friday to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at the Margate Hand Car Wash in Ramsgate Road.

“Crews assessed and treated a female patient at the scene before conveying her to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment."

Police attended to assist with vehicle recovery.
