A woman was taken to hospital after a car collided with a pedestrian, a parked car and the shopfront of an optician’s.

The emergency services were called to Queen Street, in Ramsgate, to the accident at around 3.15pm on Saturday (August 3).

Two people were assessed and treated at the scene by paramedics before one was taken to the QEQM hospital, in Margate, for further medical treatment.
