A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash.

Police were called at around 7.30am to the junction of Seamark Road and Plumstone Road, between Monkton Nature Reserve and Thanet Earth.

Officers reported that only one vehicle was involved in the collision.

An air ambulance was also dispatched and arrived at 8.43am.

They worked with police, the fire service and ambulance crews at the scene.

A woman was then taken to a local hospital by road. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
