A woman's body has been found inside a house.

Officers made the grim discovery at a house in Surrey Road, Cliftonville.

They attended alongside ambulance crews and forensic investigators were also sent to the property shortly after 9.40am.

Police said the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.

A spokesman said: "Police were called to Surrey Road, Cliftonville at 9.40am on Monday, 11 February 2019.

"SECAMB were also in attendance after the body of a woman was found.

"The circumstances are not reported to be suspicious."
