A seaside restaurant is to host the world's first ever 'Sausage Party' to kick off the festive season with a bang.
That's right - a 'Sausage Party' is coming to the Kent coast, where you can feast on 100 different types of pigs in blankets.
From Thursday, November 29, Margate's Cinque Ports restaurant will be home to the new Christmas menu thanks to creative team Messhead.
The pop-up party will serve up all sorts of variations of the festive favourite treat, including a 32 sausage ‘weenie wreath’, a foot long sausage wrapped in smoked streaky bacon, Whitstable rock oysters wrapped in crispy prosciutto, and vegan options.
Unlimited tasting is on offer for £20 per head.
Head chef Jim Thomlinson Said: “Like many people, pigs in blankets are my absolute favourite at Christmas, and it has been a long held dream of mine to create a menu filled with these tasty treats, featuring epic versions of classic pigs, as well as putting a whole new spin on the concept.
"What better home for this menu than Cinque Ports in Margate, where I have recently become head chef.
“I’m sure I’m not the only one whose idea of heaven is all-you-can-eat sausages – tickets to this event will be limited and in high demand so I’d advise people to book now so they don’t miss out."
Tickets are available on the Cinque Ports website.
