Margate manager Terry Brown says he is pleased his side have another home game so soon after Saturday's crushing defeat to Whitehawk.
The Gate host Bath City in Vanarama National League South on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm) and Brown says the game gives them the perfect opportunity to put Saturday's 6-2 humbling at Hartsdown Park behind them.
Brown, whose side remain in the bottom four, said: "I'm so pleased we've got a game (on Tuesday) and I'm glad that it's at Hartsdown because I want to be able to say to the players 'Yeah we got spanked by a very good attacking side here (on Saturday) but if we win (on Tuesday) we will have taken six points from (the last) nine at home.'"
The Gate boss had been hoping his side could find some consistency after the previous weekend’s 4-1 home win over Havant and Waterlooville, but he admitted the Whitehawk result felt like 'two steps back.'
He says he remains keen to bring in a loan striker and he may also look at stiffening up his midfield.
He added: “We’ve got midfielders who play football and not enough ‘ratters.’ I think that’s a part of our defensive set-up we need to maybe address and get in someone who is not quite as good on the ball but maybe a bit better defensively and comes out with the ball.
"I'd like to get a loan striker in if we could but at the minute it's a bit difficult. It's all right saying you want to get a loan forward in and we had a couple in mind but they both fell through.
"It's difficult to get loans from pro clubs to come down a) to Margate and b) to play in Conference South."
