Michael Thalassitis has rejoined Margate - just four months after the leaving Hartsdown Park.

The 24-year-old striker, who signed for Gate last May, left in October to sign for National League South rivals Hemel Hempstead - a result of the playing budget being slashed at Margate.

He then joined Welling last week, making just two appearances before leaving the club sign for Margate boss Steve Watt.

He will go straight into the squad ahead of Gate's home clash against Gosport Borough on Saturday.

Gate have also released midfielders Jake Phillips and Ryan Richefond as well as striker Keanu Williams.
