Margate have confirmed that Steve Brown and Mike Sandmann will joint manage the team for the 2018/19 season.
Both men worked alongside former boss Steve Watt before he left by mutual consent last week, Brown as assistant and Sandmann as first team coach.
The pair will be joined in the new set-up by under-23 team assistant Timmy Warden who joins as fitness coach.
Brown says the duo's first aim is to consolidate adding that he and Sandmann are working hard to re-shape the squad.
Midfielder Alex Brown is the latest addition signing on Saturday after his release from National League South side Dartford.
Skipper James Rogers, defender Tom Wynter and last season's Supporters' Player-of-the-Year Liam Friend have all re-signed for the 2018/19 campaign.
Brown said: “The club asked us to continue the project we started and after discussions between ourselves, it was clear that teaming up as joint managers would be the best outcome to take the club forward.
“Things are starting to shape up nicely in terms of signings and we are hoping to consolidate with a good squad blended with experienced and youth players.”
Sandmann added: “The Margate fans have been fantastic to us both since we arrived, and we know they will continue to show their support and welcome the new players that come to the club.
“We hope supporters see even more positive news over the next few weeks. Steve and I are both on the phone a lot discussing possibilities with a number of people.
“We are confident we can draw together a good group, work hard and look forward to the pre-season schedule.”
Margate hold their annual meeting at Hartsdown Park on Thursday, May 24, after which there will be a Q&A session for supporters.
The panel will include chairman Terry Painter, directors Chris Chambers and Ricky Owen and joint boss Sandmann.
The annual meeting starts at 6pm with the Q&A session following at 7.15pm.
