Margate's FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie at home to Forest Green Rovers has been picked for national TV coverage on BT Sport

Margate's FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie at home to Forest Green Rovers has been picked for national TV coverage.

The visit to Hartsdown Park of the Vanarama National League leaders will be screened by BT Sport with kick-off moved to 12.30pm on Saturday, October 24.

Each team will receive £2,500 for the broadcast.

Margate's 4-1 win against Truro was gate's first home win in eight attempts at home this season after five successive defeats and made it nine goals in two games in this season's competition after a 5-1 win at Potters Bar in the previous round.

Gate are seeking to reach the First Round proper for the first time in 13 years.

They overcame Leyton Orient in a First Round replay in November 2002 before a 3-0 defeat to Cardiff City in Round Two at their temporary home of Crabble.

Their finest hour in the world's oldest cup competition came in 1972/73 when they overcame Division 3 Swansea City to set-up a dream tie at home to Tottenham Hotspur, who enjoyed a 6-0 win in Thanet, with Martin Chivers scoring twice and Martin Peters getting another infront of a crowd of 14,500.
