Margate Football Club have signed Brighton and Hove Albion Under-21 striker Daniel Akindayini loan.

The promising 19-year-old will spend four weeks with Nikki Bull's Vanarama National League South side.

Akindayini joined the Seagulls last summer from Tottenham Hotspur where he was top scorer for the club's under-18s.

He comes straight into the Gate squad for Saturday's home match with next-to-bottom Basingstoke.

The Blues have yet to lose at home under manager Bull and Saturday's 2-0 win away to Hayes and Yeading stretched their unbeaten league run to five games.
