Isthmian League round-up: Ramsgate, Sittingbourne and Sheppey United win in Isthmian South East, Folkestone Invicta beat Cray Wanderers and Cray Valley go second in Isthmian Premier

Three goals in 10 first-half minutes set unbeaten Ramsgate on the way to another three points on Saturday.

Ramsgate won 4-1 at home to Steyning Town Community in Isthmian South East, their 12th win in 13 games.

Joe Taylor, Alfie Paxman and Josh Ajayi were on target, with Roarie Deacon adding a fourth in the last minute.

Sittingbourne maintained their fine form with a 5-0 derby win over Deal Town at Woodstock.

It’s 12 games without defeat for Ryan Maxwell’s men, who led at the break through Codey Cosgrave and Henry Sinai.

Three goals in the last eight minutes from Jack Steventon and substitutes Joe Boachie and Ryan Kingsford wrapped up the points.

Margate were held to a 1-1 draw by Burgess Hill at Hartsdown Park.

Ibrahim Olutade put Gate ahead on 71 minutes but Alex Brewer rescued a point with two minutes remaining.

An injury-time winner from Eitel Moumi Goueth saw Sheppey come from behind to defeat Merstham 4-3 at Holm Park.

The crowd of 493 certainly got their money’s worth after Aidan Brown and a Charlie Greenwood penalty put the visitors 2-0 ahead.

Jacob Lambert pulled one back before Dan Bradshaw equalised after the break only for Korrey Henry to restore Merstham’s lead.

But Lambert made it 3-3 with 17 minutes left and Moumi Goueth’s right-foot finish found the far corner in a dramatic finish.

Jefferson Aibangbee scored a hat-trick as 10-man Sevenoaks won 4-2 at Hythe.

Aibangbee scored in the first minute and then added a penalty on 19 minutes. Anthony Adesite replied with a spot-kick for Hythe before Sevenoaks were reduced to 10 men when Ryan Sawyer saw red.

Adesite made it 2-2 before half-time but Sevenoaks regained the lead on 68 minutes through Warren Mfula before Aibangbee scored another penalty with eight minutes left.

Gary Lockyer gave Ashford the lead at Lancing but they lost 2-1 while Erith Town picked up a goalless draw at AFC Croydon Athletic.

Second-half goals from James Ding and Marcin Ruda saw Herne Bay lose 2-0 at Eastbourne Town.

Louie Theophanous scored twice for leaders Beckenham who defeated Broadbridge Heath 3-2 while Phoenix Sports lost 4-2 at East Grinstead despite second-half goals from Richard Pingling and Kiye Martin.

A Daniel Smith goal was enough for Folkestone to take three points at home to Cray Wanderers while Cray Valley are up to second after Danny Waldren’s goal saw them overcome Horsham 1-0.
