Margate have confirmed that four players have left the club.

Jamie Stuart, Danny Green, Kane Wills and Chris Lewington have all departed after their contracts expired at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Margate boss Nikki Bull said he wished them all well but is looking to build a new side ahead of next season's Vanarama National League South campaign.

He added: “I would like to wish the boys all the best and thank them for all their hard work during their time at Margate now it is about looking ahead and rebuilding a different team under the new financial climate that the club will be operating in.”

The club says further player announcements are expected tomorrow and over the coming days.
