Striker Kane Rowland has set his sights on promotion after rejoining Ramsgate.
Rowland adds to the collection of local players at Southwood, a list which also includes Josh Bexon, TJ Jadama, Jack Paxman and Sammi Takaloo.
He’s back with the Rams after leaving fellow Isthmian South East side Sittingbourne at the end of last month.
Asked about his targets, Rowland said: “It’s simply to score as many goals as possible and do whatever is needed to help the club achieve its goal of promotion.”
Boss Steve Lovell is set to welcome another potential signing to training on Wednesday night as Rams prepare for an FA Trophy first qualifying round tie at Littlehampton on Saturday.
“I still need to strengthen in a couple of areas but it’s one of those where you can have a big squad but then you’ve got to keep everybody happy,” said Lovell.
“I always thought after about seven or eight league games we’d know where we are regarding the squad, who’s done well, and this is why I’m keen to give everybody a go.
“I can then make decisions on 17 or 18 players rather than having 20 or 21 around the place.”
Holidays and injuries left Rams with 12 senior players for their last game, the 2-1 home win over Hythe on Bank Holiday Monday.
They’re back at full strength for Littlehampton - last season’s FA Vase runners-up - and Lovell is set to use the tie to get returning players up to speed.
He said: “If it was a league game on Saturday I’d most probably go with the boys who performed well against Hythe.
“But where it’s an FA Trophy game it gives me a chance to get some of the boys who have been away some minutes and fitness and then I can decide whether they’re ready for the league.
“We all like cup games but I am prioritising the league this year. I still want to win on Saturday, like I wanted to win the FA Cup tie the other week (Rams lost 2-1 at Rusthall in the preliminary round).
“I thought we had a good enough side out to win that game but we didn’t.
“The league is the priority but we want to go as far as we can in the Trophy.
“We know Littlehampton will be tough. They’ve been promoted and they’re going along all right in our league.
“If we play as we can we’ll be OK but we’ve got to go out there and perform. We need to do that week in, week out, with no let-ups, because they’re all decent teams.”
