Margate boss Jay Saunders has signed a player who has just helped Bostik Premier rivals Tonbridge win promotion to the Vanarama National League South.
Adem Ramadan quit Longmead Stadium earlier this week after failing to agree terms and Gate boss Jay Saunders wasted no time persuading him to move to Hartsdown.
He is the Gate manager's fourth signing after Ben Swift, Jordy Robins and Noel Leighton.
Ramadan, a former Phoenix Sports player, is looking forward to trying to earn another promotion.
Speaking to the Gate website, the 21-year-old said: “I’m really looking forward to the new chapter.
"I have heard lots of good things about Margate Football Club and Jay Saunders and I’m excited to start pre-season, get into the season and see how we get on.
“It was an enjoyable time at Tonbridge, I scored a few there, got some important goals and worked hard for the team and we managed to get promotion, so hopefully we can do the same at Margate.
“I’m quick and like to play on the left, cutting in and getting some shots away but I can also play wide, outside – box in and look to get crosses in for strikers.
"I do a bit of everything! I work hard and will run my socks off all game in the hope to impress fans and excite them.”
