Ramsgate’s FA Cup Second Round tie at AFC Wimbledon will be live on national television.
Ben Smith’s men will travel to the League 2 outfit on Monday, December 4 with a 7.45pm kick-off, and the game will be shown on ITV4.
It means an additional £60,000 bonus in broadcast fees for the Isthmian South East club who are enjoying their best-ever FA Cup run.
Ramsgate knocked out Bexhill United, Chatham Town, Cray Wanderers, Frome Town and AFC Totton in the qualifying rounds.
Former Manchester United and Gillingham midfielder Lee Martin then scored the winner in the First Round as they beat National League Woking 2-1 at Southwood.
Boss Smith was hoping for the tie to be picked for live broadcast and his prayers have been answered.
“I’ve been looking for an away tie,” he said earlier in the week. “We’ve got a League 2 club, hopefully the TV gives us the credit we’re due.
“It will be a fantastic day, it’s London, so close enough to get lots of support there and hopefully it will be another magical day.
“We were underdogs against Woking, I said we probably had a 20% chance. We’ve probably got a 10% chance v AFC Wimbledon.
“We go with nothing to fear, the supporters will have a great day, no matter what happens. At the moment we are daring to dream.”
Ramsgate are one of five ties to be selected for TV coverage, a list that does not include Maidstone’s clash at home to League 2 Barrow which will take place on Saturday, December 2 (3pm).
BBC2 will show Chester or York at home to Wigan on Friday, December 1 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The following day sees Alfreton Town host Walsall on BBC1 at 12.30pm.
On Sunday, December 3, Eastleigh host Reading at 1.30pm on ITV1 with Wrexham at home to Yeovil being shown on ITVX at 3.45pm.
All the above clubs will earn £60,000 in broadcast fees, except Wrexham and Yeovil with their payment reduced to £20,000 as the match is being shown on a streaming service.
Gillingham’s FA Cup Second Round tie at home to Charlton or Cray Valley will be on Saturday, December 2 with a 3pm kick-off. The fixture has been selected for live distribution overseas which will mean a small broadcast fee for both clubs.
Cray Valley’s First Round replay at home to League 1 Charlton is also being shown live on TV. That games takes place on Wednesday, November 15.
