Margate boss Andy Drury has added to his squad with a double signing ahead of the festive period.
Gate have agreed a one-month loan deal with Dartford for winger Marvin Herschel.
The 19-year-old, who broke into the first-team earlier this season under new boss Alan Dowson, is well known to Gate captain Ben Greenhalgh, having come through the Dartford Academy system under his guidance.
Margate have also completed a work experience loan of midfielder Matthew Macarthur from League 2 Gillingham.
The 18-year-old can also feature in midfield and further forward if required. The work experience loan will continue indefinitely with either club able to cancel at any time.
Margate host Cray Wanderers on Boxing Day (kick-off 1pm) before visiting Folkestone on January 2 (kick-off 3pm).
Meanwhile, Troy Howard has rejoined former club Deal for a month to regain fitness after injury.
The Gate midfielder, who linked up with Drury in May, was prominent earlier on in the season but has missed a large chunk of the campaign due to an ankle injury. His last appearance was at the start of November.
Deal will host Kennington on Tuesday (3pm) and then travel to Welling Town on January 2 (3pm).
