TWO men have been arrested following an appeal made by police after the discovery of an elderly woman’s body in her flat at Whitelake Road, Tonbridge, last Tuesday (June 27).

The two local men, one aged aged 21 and the other 22, were arrested on suspicion of burglary on Thursday (June 29) in Tonbridge. Both men are now on police bail while enquiries continue.

The results of the post-mortem, carried out on Thursday, showed that the 82-year-old woman died of natural causes. The coroner will not be holding an inquest.
