Passengers look to be facing lengthy disruption after heavy rain caused a landslip.
The Tonbridge to Redhill is closed until further notice after the collapse last Sunday and Southern, with Network Rail, have now devised an alternative route starting from Monday, January 6
A shuttle train service will operate hourly in both directions between Tonbridge and Edenbridge, stopping at Leigh and Penshurst.
This train service connects to an hourly bus service between Edenbridge and Redhill, stopping at Godstone, Nutfield (Memorial Hall) and Redhill.
Replacement bus stops will be at the following locations:
Redhill: outside the main station entrance
Nutfield: on the A25 at the Nutfield Memorial Hall , more than a mile mile north of the station.
Godstone: Eastbourne Road, opposite The Lagham pub outside platform two.
Edenbridge: on Station Road, near the station itself .
A mini bus service will also run between Nutfield station and Redhill.
Travel between Tonbridge and Redhill only
As an alternative to these arrangements, passengers travelling between Tonbridge and Redhill can also travel via London Bridge, using Southeastern services between Tonbridge and London Bridge and Thameslink services between London Bridge and Redhill.
Weekend travel on the Tonbridge to Redhill route
From Saturday, January 11 a replacement bus service will operate hourly in both directions between Tonbridge and Redhill, stopping at Leigh, Penshurst, Edenbridge, Godstone Nutfield (Memorial Hall) and Redhill.
The bus stops remain the same.
