Advance warning of A21 roadworks

OVERNIGHT works will be carried out at the A21/A26 Quarry Hill junction at Tonbridge on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 2-3, between 7pm and 5am.

The work will cover a 1km section of the A21 and will strengthen the bridge as part of road improvements. Drivers will be given advanced warnings alerting them to the work.

Robert MacKenzie of the Highways Agency said: "The work to the birdge is part of safety improvements and is being carried out overnight to cause minimum disruption to drivers."
