Two girls missing from Paddock Wood have been found say police

Two girls who went missing from Paddock Wood have been "safely located", police have confirmed.

An appeal was issued early yesterday morning after Emily Durkin, 13, went missing.

And yesterday afternoon the force said officers were also looking for her friend, Danielle Harman-Murphy, 12, who was believed to be with her.

Emily and Danielle were both reported missing on Tuesday in the early evening, and officers were concerned for their welfare.

They were believed to have travelled on a train together from Paddock Wood railway station to London.

This morning, a police spokesman said: "Please be aware that two girls, aged 13 and 12, who were reported missing from Paddock Wood on December 13 have been safely located."
