Officers investigating a reported fraud have released an image of a man they are hunting.

It is alleged two men visited an address in London Road, Tonbridge, where they tricked a woman in her 90s into writing a cheque.

The cheque was then taken to a bank, and a large sum of cash was withdrawn.

Police would like to speak to this man.

The CCTV image released today shows a man police think can help with inquiries.

Officers also want to speak to anyone who recognises him or who believes they have information on the incident, which happened between 11.40am and midday on Thursday, August 31.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01622 604100 quoting SI/YY/004496/17, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
