Celebrate the very best of rural living at Hever Castle whilst a variety of talented craftspeople set up stall to show off their skills.
‘Country Life at the Castle' will run from Friday, September 12 – Sunday, September 14 and will welcome craftspeople to the Half Moon Lawn including a trig maker, basket weaver, wood carver and lace maker - to name just some of them.
You can sample food and drink from local producers and find out about keeping bee and hens from the experts.
Patchwork and quilting crafts have been practiced for centuries and the event incorporates the popular annual Patchwork and Quilting Exhibition.
Members of The Quilters’ Guild from across Kent, Surrey and Sussex will showcase their talents with a display of patchwork creations ranging from kingsize bedspreads to miniature wall hangings.
Guild members enter the Hever Castle challenge and visitors can vote for their favourite patchwork or quilt design.
Visitors can also take part in learn to sew workshops that take place throughout the day.
Gardens open at 10.30am and the castle opens at 12 noon. Last and final exit will be at 6pm each day.
