Members of an amateur dramatics society have been taught tricks of the trade by a cast of professional actors.
The East Peckham Russett Players travelled to the Orchard Theatre in Dartford where they spent an afternoon with stars including Nigel Havers and Martin Jarvis.
The group, which was founded by Marilyn Apps in 2012, has performed a handful of shows in west Kent.
Members were given time to ask questions and pick up tips ahead of their own version of Oscar Wilde’s comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest, which the society will perform later this month.
Shows will take place at East Peckham’s Holy Trinity Church on Friday, October 30 at 7.30pm and Saturday, October 31 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from village stores. Alternatively call 01622 872944.
