The family of a man tragically killed in a crash in Hildenborough have paid tribute to him.

Dicken Reynolds died after a Jeep Cherokee and a Ford Focus collided at around 7.20am in London Road on September 16.

An air ambulance was called to the scene, between Morleys roundabout and Mill Lane, but the 55-year-old from Hadlow was pronounced dead.

The crash happened near the busy A21, which runs between Tonbridge and Sevenoaks.

A road closure was in place until 12.45pm while officers investigated the cause of the collision.

Mr Reynolds' family have today released an emotion tribute to him. In a statement they said: "Dicken was a loving Dad, caring brother and generous friend. His happiness in life was seeing those he loved happy and content.

"He will be hugely missed by his two children Kimberley and Tom, his family and friends and his beloved Jack Russell Dexter.

“Dicken recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning a Harley Davidson, and those who know Dicken will know how deserved this happiness was.

"Dicken was one of life's good guys, always putting others before himself and always there to lend a hand. Dickens generosity and loving spirit will be missed by everyone that knew him.”

The father-of-two's funeral will take place at Tunbridge Wells Crematorium on Monday, October 12 at 12.15pm.
