A Krispy Kreme van has blocked a “busy town shortcut” after getting wedged underneath a railway bridge.
Polina Nicholl’s saw the incident in Strawberry Vale, between Vale Road and Priory Road in Tonbridge, at around 8.15am.
She said: “There weren’t any delays when I saw it.
“Luckily it is not a school day for the local schools, such as Hillview and Weald, but I'd expect some difficulties in the surrounding area.
“This is a very busy shortcut to the town.”
A spokesman for Krispy Kreme said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are grateful to the emergency services who helped to swiftly and safely reopen the road.
“An internal investigation into the circumstances of this incident is underway."
