A Tonbridge man accused of assaulting a woman and threatening to leak naked footage of her has appeared in court.

Jack Eldred, of Audley Avenue, is alleged to have secretly recorded the victim on two separate occasions while she was showering and drying herself.

The videos came to light when the 22-year-old is said to have assaulted her.The court heard he threatened to leak the video clips if she contacted the police.

Eldred, charged with assault by beating and two counts of voyeurism, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Friday.

He did not enter a plea and was granted unconditional bail until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, August 21.
