Police called after ammunition found in the River Medway in Tonbridge

Police were called after live shotgun shells were discovered in the River Medway in Tonbridge this morning.
At 8.30am a member of the public called the police after seeing a number of used and live shotgun shells in the river between Avebury Avenue and Tonbridge Racecourse Sportsground.
Patrols initially attended and an officer from the marine unit then retrieved the items.
