Police release CCTV after spate of suspected arsons in Tonbridge

Officers investigating a spate of suspected arson attacks have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to.

During December 2016 a series of suspicious fires were reported in the Tonbridge area.

These incidents caused damage to properties and parked vehicles in areas including Crabapple Road, Cannons Lane, Redbud Road, and Medway Wharf Road.

Kent Police have now released images of a man they believe can help with inquiries.

The images are connected to an incident in Ashby Point, Walters Farm Road, at around 10.20pm on Friday, December 23.

Detective Constable Marc Symonds said: "We are continuing to appeal for any information which may assist our investigation into these incidents and I would like to thank anyone who has already been in touch.

"At this stage we are now really keen to speak to the man pictured in these CCTV images. If you recognise him please don’t hesitate to call us."
