Tonbridge: Recycling bins to be removed from former Homebase site, in Cannon Lane

Recycling bins at the former Homebase site in Tonbridge are to be removed.

Banks for cans, glass, paper and textiles provided by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council well be withdrawn, at the request of the land owner - The Prudential Assurance Company Ltd.

Recycling bins are being withdrawn from the site

Alternative recycling facilities can be found in the B&Q car park as well as in car parks on Sovereign Way and The Angel Centre.

A council spokesman said officers are exploring the possibility of re-installing the recycling banks on the site previously occupied by Homebase with the new tenant.
