Works to repair and replace safety barriers on the A21 northbound carriageway have been announced.
They will take place between Pembury and Tonbridge, starting on the evening of April 15 and finishing on the morning of May 17.
National Highways will be using a mixture of road closures and lane closures and will also carry out maintenance and repairs to the drains along the route.
The northbound A21 between Longfield Road and the Vauxhall interchange will be closed overnight (8pm to 6am) on April 15 and 16, and then weeknights only from April 17 until the morning of May 17, except bank holidays, between 8pm and 6am.
In addition to removing the existing safety barrier, when the road is open at 6am on April 17, there will be a further lane closure and a reduced speed limit of 50mph on the northbound A21 until improvements are complete.
During these closures, a diversion will be in place for the northbound traffic via the A228 and A26. Drivers are being advised to plan ahead.
For properties by the A21 between Longfield Road and the Vauxhall interchange, drivers are advised to use the Well Wood interchange for access.
