A frustrated Tonbridge woman has posted a hilarious open letter to her neighbours, after one woman's nocturnal activities kept her young child awake.
Toni Jeffery took to Facebook to ask the randy resident, who she describes as being "really loud" to consider those around when next partaking in night-time relations.
The mother's main complaint was how she was supposed to explain to her two-year-old child why "the lady is making funny noises".
The Chichester Road resident wrote: "A plea really - Whoever was having really REALLY loud sex last night around the Douglas Road area please consider the fact that it is very hot so everyone has their windows open.
"Trying to explain to a two year old in the early hours why the lady is "making funny noises" isn't the easiest of tasks, especially when you have to get up in a few hours for work."
The letter, posted in a Tonbridge facebay group, has been liked hundreds of times and attracted a bundle of amusing comments.
Some users have even joked about starting a competition to see who can be the street's loudest resident.
Others wanted to know who the participants were so they can get tips on how to spice up their love lives.
The post has received mixed views, with some labelling the pair involved inconsiderate meanwhile others have congratulated them on their 'healthy' relationship.
Miss Jeffery added: "I don't for one minute mean that people shouldn't have a good time, but if I were to stand outside their windows in the small hours banging a drum I'm sure they would be annoyed, but it's the same level of inconsideration!!
"I just asked for people to be considerate, as I'm sure most of us are."
Leanne Mepham wrote: "I agree with being considerate but really what's the difference whether it's people having sex waking the kids up to dogs barking to fireworks going off.
"It's summer - windows are open and to be honest my newborn could have woken my neighbours up with her screaming. But what can you do its life. You get on with it."
