Police have called off the search for a toddler spotted wandering around Tonbridge unattended.

Despite not receiving a report of a missing child a helicopter was sent up to search the area yesterday afternoon.

The child was reportedly seen in the Lodge Road area at around 7.30am wearing a superman costume.

A Kent Police spokesman has confirmed the parents of a child matching the same description contacted them at 4pm to say he was not missing.
