Two men have been charged after a burglary which led to a police chase which lasted for more than 30 miles.

Police attended a report of a burglary on Saturday at 3.56pm in Sovereign Way, Tonbridge.

A stolen Royal Mail van believed to have been involved was seen on the A21, but failed to stop when told to by officers.

It was then pursued to London's Wharf Street, with help from the Metropolitan Police and a helicopter, where it was stopped.

David Stone, 50 and of Canning Town, London, has now been charged with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking.
