Tonbridge: Woman freed from car after Vale Road crash

A woman was freed from her car after a crash in Tonbridge.

Emergency services were called to Vale Road at 7pm yesterday to reports of a car hitting a parked vehicle.

On arrival fire crews found a woman in her late 40s trapped by her injuries.

Firefighters and paramedics worked together to release her from her vehicle.

She was suffering from pelvic and leg injuries and was taken by road to King's College Hospital in London.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service made the scene safe and left at 7.45pm.
