A woman has been taken to hospital after driving her car into a ditch.

It happened on the B2162 Lamberhurst Road, near Horsmonden, at around 2.25pm today.

A police spokesman said: "A car left the road and ended in a ditch.

"Police and The South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, and the female driver was taken to hospital."

The South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approached for more information.

The road has since reopened.
