Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured following a collision in Tonbridge.
It happened between Whistler Road and Higham Lane at around 10pm on Tuesday.
Officers believe it involved a white Ford Transit van which left the scene before emergency services arrived.
The cyclist suffered a fractured back and serious leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigators think the van has been left with visible damage to the wing mirror and indicator lens and want anyone with information to get in touch.
A spokesman said: "Officers are particularly keen to speak with anyone who has knowledge of this vehicle. It is believed to have headed away down Puttenden Lane, towards the Plaxtol area, following the incident."
