Detectives are trying to trace two men after more than £500,000 is said to have been fraudulently gained.
Kent Police is investigating the alleged activity in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and have released an image of two men they believe could help with their inquiries.
It is reported that between March 2013 and January 2014 false identity details were used to open bank accounts and obtain loans.
An appeal for information about the men was released in June, but has now been renewed by detectives.
Detective constable, Christopher Mason, of Kent Police, said: "This is a complex investigation that was launched last year when we received a report of fraudulent activity.
"Inquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to the 2 men in the images or anyone who may know them.’
A 51-year-old man, from Gravesend, who was arrested in connection with the investigation, remains on bail until September, 2.
Anyone who recognises the men is asked to call Det Con Mason on 01634 792209, quoting crime reference SI/XY/1962/14.
