A schoolboy was left shaken after a bus carrying him and other pupils ploughed into a wall.
The accident happened in Shipbourne Road in Tonbridge near the junction with Old London Road at around 4.45pm yesterday.
Debris was left scattered across the road and the vehicle was badly damaged.
Jackie Highstead, a Twitter user, posted about how her grandson was helped by a stranger after the crash.
"My grandson was on the bus and very shaken up," she said. "He said there was a lady who helped them all and was checking they were all okay. My daughter, grandson and I would like to say a big thank you to that lady for all her help,"
Photos from bystanders posted on the social media platform show the front of the bus resting on top of the broken wall.
Witness Gill Bicker said: "I was in the hairdressers adjacent to it. We were really surprised. We didn't hear it, but someone left and then came back in and told us so we went out to see if we could help. It was absolutely surreal.
"We could not believe how it had happened. Apparently the driver was really shaken and he was so apologetic and really concerned about everyone."
Emergency services rushed to the scene but, fortunately, there were no injuries.
