A carer who used the bank card of someone she looked after to buy a laptop and pay her rent has avoided prison.
Michele Foulds, of Twyford Road, Hadlow, was trusted to safeguard a vulnerable man's money but instead used more than £900 for herself.
The victim was cared for by Pembury-based company Aspens.
The 45-year-old defendant was found guilty of fraud by abuse of position at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The court delivered a 24-week sentence, suspended for two years.
Foulds was also ordered to pay more than £1,000 in fines and compensation.
