POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may hold valuable information about a sex assault on a teenage boy on a train in Kent.

The incident took place on a train between Tonbridge and Paddock Wood.

According to police, the 16-year-old victim was approached by an older man who asked if he could sit next to him.

He then allegedly began to stroke the boy's leg before sexually assaulting him. The teenager managed to leave the train at Paddock Wood.

Anyone with information about the incident, which took place at around 3.15pm on May 12 last year, is asked to contact police on 0207 3915275.
