More on KentOnline
A digital marketing agency where staff can take unlimited holiday has been named the best place to work in Kent for the second year running.
Reddico, in Tonbridge, has also been ranked the fourth best in the UK in the small business category of the UK's Best Workplaces 2020 awards.
Founded in 2012, the company takes a modern stance on how an office should be run - giving employees more ownership and responsibility.
This means they are able to take as much annual leave as they want, work from home if they please and there's even a ping pong table on site.
Reddico has found this unconventional way of running a business has helped increase profit by 65% in 18 months, as well as keep its staff happy.
Uk's Best Workplaces judges companies by giving staff a questionnaire and examining organisations' leadership and policies.
Head of culture Luke Kyte says "the results speak for themselves".
He said: "Our culture gives everyone complete trust to do the job in a way that’s right for them, with no set hours, no managers, and people having as much annual leave as they see fit.
"Why do we do this? Ultimately, we believe people will do the right thing, giving everyone autonomy and freedom in how they work, and only measuring output.
“The results really do speak for themselves, with both our team and clients happier than before.”
The Five Oak Green company is also one of 11 shortlisted for 'best small SEO agency' at the European Search Awards 2020.
The awards celebrate some of the best in online marketing, with winners due to be announced in Romania in September.
