The double tragedy rocked the Tonbridge village this weekend, after police were called to the family's home in Carpenters Lane at about 7.40am on Saturday.
Margaret Harris, 78, and her 55-year-old daughter Sharon were reportedly killed as a result of a dispute over a shared driveway.
A third person, named as Margaret's husband David Harris, who is in his 70s, was taken to a London hospital for treatment.
He is thought to be in a stable condition.
The victims' family said in a statement: "We have lost two members of our family and are focusing on the recovery of another.
"We would like to ask that our privacy is respected."
Jack Ralph, 28, also of Carpenters Lane, was charged with two counts of murder and another of attempted murder.
