A dramatic photo shows the moment a graveyard was engulfed in flames.
The picture was taken at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Tonbridge yesterday (August 15) afternoon.
The area has since been partially taped off and patches of ground can be seen blackened and burnt.
It is not yet known if any of the tombstones were damaged.
A fire service spokesman said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 4.24pm on Thursday to Church Lane, Tonbridge to reports of trees and undergrowth on fire.
“One fire engine attended and crews used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
“There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.”
The fire crews left at 5.08pm.
