Family 'devastated' over stolen puppy

AN eight-month-old Border Terrier puppy has been stolen from a family's back garden in a Kent village.

Police in West Kent are appealing for the public’s help in finding the dog which was taken from an address in London Road, Hildenborough, near Tonbridge.

The theft happened sometime between 9.30pm on Thursday, June 8, and 6am on Friday, June 9.

Two sheds in the back garden at the property were broken into. A child’s red mountain bike was stolen along with the puppy.

Police spokeswoman Anne McCarthy said: "Members of the family are devastated by the loss. Anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact us immediately."
