Three fire engines were sent to the scene of a house fire believed to have been sparked by an electrical fault.
Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to reports of a blaze in the roof of a property on Tainter Road in Hadlow shortly after 1.30pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used equipment including a high-pressure hose reel jet to tackle the flames.
A KFRS spokesman said: "Three fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and fire extinguishers to put out the flames.
"No casualties were reported. It's believed the fire started accidentally due to an electrical fault."
Crews were stood down after around an hour at the scene.
