West Kent Extra will arrange free summer fun days in 2015 for west Kent after this year's success

A charity has promised to repeat its free summer fun days next year after this year's events were enjoyed by hundreds of youngsters.

West Kent Extra (WKE) welcomed around 700 people at 10 fun days in towns across Kent this year.

Managing director, Will Campbell-Wroe said the events had been well-supported by local people and brought communities together.

Visitors enjoyed a range of activities including arts and crafts, workshops, games, face painting and circus skills.

Locals from towns including Sevenoaks, Medway, Swanley, Ashford, West Kingsdown, New Ash Green, Kemsing and Maidstone turned up for the fun days.

Will said: "We have had fantastic feedback, with many people commenting on how these events help bring neighbourhoods together, provide an opportunity for children and parents to make new friends and provide families with a great day out."
