A 56-year-old from the county is facing a child sex offence charge.

Police arrested Glenn Jones, of Tutsham Way, Tonbridge after a South East Regional Organised Crime Unit investigation on Tuesday, September 25.

Jones was subsequently charged with one count of attempting to facilitate the commission of a child sex offence.

He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 26.

The man was remanded into custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Wednesday, October 24.
