A pensioner who had been reported missing from Tonbridge has been found.

Officers had been growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of John Meakin, 80.

He had last been seen boarding a train from Tonbridge station at around 10.40am this morning.

Thankfully, following an appeal earlier today, a police spokesman confirmed that the pensioner has been safely located.
