Police are searching for a man who went missing from his Kent home, leaving his car behind.

Charles Young, 55, left his home at 6am on Monday to travel to Sandhurst in Berkshire.

He was expected back by about 10am but has not returned, although his car has since been located not far from his address.

Mr Young’s disappearance is out of character and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He is believed to have been wearing blue jeans, a light grey jumper with a zip and possibly hiking boots.
